Welcome to the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry | | Visit the website and come to meet us at our office located opposite Shefa Provincial Council in the center of Port Vila. | | Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to assist potential investors and provide information and advice to business license holders, Government services and overseas trade and investment partners in all matters related to business in or the economy of Vanuatu. | | After 15 years of existence, Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a statutory body that is currently facing great challenges to operate its activities and provide its services as required under the responsibility of the Ministry of Trade. | The objectives of VCCI are : - to represent members of the business community as intermediary between the private sector and the Vanuatu Government
- to assist in the promotion of commerce and industry
- to provide support to growing businesses in Vanuatu
- to pursue these objectives while respecting the cultural traditions and natural environment of Vanuatu
Yet, the major goal of VCCI is to strenghten and maintain the strong cooperative and focal liaison point between the business community and Vanuatu Government in order to address the priorities of the national economic policy by contributing to the development and growth of Vanuatu’s economy. Holding a valid business license in Vanuatu allows you to automatically receive membership to VCCI through payment of annual fees to the Government. As such, VCCI has over 5,000 members throughout Vanuatu and is uniquely placed as a significant lobbying power, advocating the concerns and issues of the private sector to local, provincial and national authorities as well as a number of key national, regional and international organisations. | Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched the creation of the School of Business and Finance to not only offer vocational training and programs of diploma in business and finance to meet the needs of the VCCI members, the member companies, but also to the Ni Vanuatu and especially to the many unemployed with no vocational training young people and high school leavers. The VCCI would offer to these Ni Vanuatu the opportunity to have access to a continual vocational training to empower them with the basic tools of an entrepreneur so that they can create their micro or small local business. They may subsequently benefit from a continual follow up from the Training and Support Unit in charge of the School of Business and Finance of VCCI. | » Newsletter | Download our 1st Newsletter : N°1 NOVEMBER 2010 VCCI NEWSLETTER Download our 2nd Newsletter : N°2 DECEMBER 2010 VCCI NEWSLETTER Download our 3rd Newsletter : N°3 JANUARY & FEBRUARY 2011 VCCI NEWSLETTER | Annual General Meeting, 28th April 2011 at 4:30pm, at VCCI, Port Vila, Vanuatu Notice to all business license holders in Port Vila (French & English) : click here | Download the VCCI Business Management Training Program February 2012 : click here March 2012 : click here | | Download the VCCI Business Finance Training Program February 2012 : click here March 2012 : click here |
